From 1954 Ceramica Flamina has produced sanitary-ware in both Vitreous China and fine fired clay through a completely renewed production system. Flamina has adopted the mechanisation of various procedures - casting, glazing, firing, etc - guaranteeing quality control over each phase of production. In 1997 Ludovica and Roberto Palomba designed the Work in Progress range. Work in Progress can be described as a hinge between the contemporary culture and the technical world that these products belong to.

Flamina‘s status as a reputable international company has been enhanced by their collaboration with an array of contemporary and well-renowned designers. This includes Sergio Mori, Ludovica E, Roberto Palomba (2003), Alexander Duringer, Stefano Rosini (2004), Romano Adolini (2006) and Patrick Norguet (2007 and 2008).
